Electrical design engineer
We are looking for an individual with experience in industrial electrical design for controls and automation. In this role you will be executing the electrical design work in our project teams. You will work closely together with the System engineer and the Automation lead engineer to deliver projects according to specifications and with correct quality. The role will have the responsibility to develop and maintain current methods of electrical design development at Graniten. The main tool for developing is E-plan electric P8.

Background and Skills
To be successful in this role, we want you to have a clear drive and experience of product development. You need to have a good understanding of technology and processes for efficient product development. Your background is from product development that includes electrical design of automation and controls projects and have experience with electrical schematics, control panel design, and cable dimensioning. You have also broad knowledge within automation components, such as PLCs, servo motor, sensors etc. We are in the forefront of PLC, robotics and HMI programming and are using Beckhoff, ABB and COPA-data as some of our system suppliers. Sensors, servo motors and pneumatics are used to perform functions. It is therefore meritorious if you have experience working with one or several of these technical areas and incorporated them in electrical schematics.

• In dialog with System engineer and Automation lead engineer, act to secure quality accuracy
• Is responsible for the quality of the individual deliverables in Graniten’s projects
• Be the technical expert in electrical design

• Responsible for interface documents

Personal qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 3 Years’ experience within product development
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams and manage multiple tasks and objectives
• Broad knowledge with electrical design technology
• Problem-solving and client service orientation
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate effectively with internal team members and external clients
• Team player who embraces responsibility and wants to be part of a winning team
